You have arrived at Pinehurst Inn at Pikes Creek.
The front steps take you to the sandstone porch where you sit and ponder Lake Superior & the sounds of the wind in the pines. Or you may wander down the stone steps to Pikes Creek and listen to the sounds of the water making it's way to the big lake. This is your time for quiet reflection. Please come in!
Located just 3 miles south of Bayfield, Wisconsin, the Pinehurst Inn main house speaks of history and grandeur. The Garden House, a separate adjacent building completed in June, 2003, replicates the architecture of the main inn, but provides visitors with a unique, "green" building, with emphasis on energy efficiency and guest comforts.

The Apostle Islands National Lakeshore offers opportunity for year-round activities including sailing, kayaking, fishing, camping, cross-country skiing and dog sledding. Take the Madeline Island Ferry across to enjoy biking the island or wandering the small community of LaPointe. Enjoy Big Top Chautauqua, the Carnegie Hall of tent shows, only two short miles from Pinehurst Inn.
The Pinehurst Inn offers 5 rooms in their main, historic house, and three rooms in their lovely Garden House.
Upstairs on the second & third floors, view our guest rooms. Inviting rooms await your arrival, all tastefully decorated with your desires and needs in mind. Beautiful views, comfortable beds, private baths and many special touches all tell you that you are a special guest, and welcome in this house. The second floor offers five guest rooms, all with private baths. The third floor offers a 3-room whirlpool suite!
The Garden House is a separate building adjacent to the main inn. This building is being constructed using "green building" philosophy with high attention to using sustainable materials, design and energy efficient -- all with the ultimate guest comforts in mind. Guests staying in the Garden House still are provided full breakfast in the main house.
The Garden House will offer three additional guest rooms, all providing queen beds, fireplaces, whirlpool tubs & showers, decks and wonderful space! There is also a good sized common room with kitchenette, TV, phone, computer hook up and space to relax. All rooms offer air conditioning if needed.
