Skiing Stevens Pass offers a terrain ideal for a variety of skiing options, both for beginners as well as for professionals. The ski area here is located in the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie and Wenatchee National forests, at the summit of Stevens Pass. This region is considered one of Northwest's premier ski resorts, offering 10 lifts and over 1,000 acres of skiing and snowboarding terrain. In summer, tourists can enjoy hiking and mountain biking.
Stevens Pass also boasts of the only high- speed quad in the state, open for night riding for five days a week. There are two terrain parks at Stevens Pass, theTop Phlight Terrain Park for serious skiers and the Dog dunes for novices. For the skiing enthusiasts, there are two directions to explore. On one side is a well-wooded slope with an awesome stretch of steep terrain of the Cowboy and Big Chief Mountains. The other side offers wide-open spaces interspersed with delightful coves of thickly shaded trees.
