Crystal Mountain Resort, the only Alpine ski resort in Washington, boasts of impeccably groomed and maintained slopes that are skiers’ delight. The steep and thrilling terrain is enough to keep your adrenaline rushing all day. Crystal is famous for its eight bowls; jagged steeps and treed gullies spread over seven peaks and hundreds of acres of backcountry. Nearly half of Crystal’s terrain is “inbounds backcountry” that is normally out-of-bounds, but is opened by the ski patrol when conditions are right. The backcountry puts the resort over the top with its forested glades, bowls, avalanche chutes, and cliffs, exciting enough to challenge the finest skiers and snowboarders.
