The resort is also a great beginner and family destination with an excellent kids-learn-to-ski program and by far one of the best sites to teach your children how to ski or snowboard. Black diamond runs for expert skiers and Intermediate or Blue runs cover a major portion of the terrain. But beginners can have their fun on the rest of the ski area served by the new base-area lift, the Chinook Express. First-timers can take off to the Meadow and Fairway runs served by the Discovery chair lift. Children have their own Kid Conveyor, a "moving carpet" lift. The mountain even has a child care center and a ski school. An expansion plan for Crystal is in the making and the master plan promises to make this dream destination even better. |
