Fall Folliage Gifford Woods State park is a popular haunt during the fall foliage season and offers spectacular views from Deer Leap Mountain and lovely waterfalls where Kent Brook enters Kent Pond. History buffs will want to drive to the President Calvin Coolidge State Historic Site. The birthplace of the 30th President is almost a textbook example of an early 20th century Vermont hill town. According to his wishes to return to his people, the President is buried in the town cemetery with seven generations of Coolidges. |
