After an exhilarating day in Utah's champagne powder -- "The Greastest Snow on Earth" -- take the quick 10 mi. drive to Sandy and settle in to luxury lodging in a private condo, complete with 2 fireplaces -- one wood, one gas. In early spring, and sometimes in a mild winter, you can golf 5 min away, mountain bike, or hike. And some of the country's best rock climbing is minutes away, also. A wonderful, secluded cross-country ski trail starts just 5 min. up the canyon. Be sure to look for mountain goats on the cliffs! Moose have also been spotted in the area.
