W elcome to our Gentlemen's Farm in the fertile farmlands of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. This pastoral setting has been our home since 1972 and we invite you to come and share in its delights. On our farm you will find a few cats at the house and beef cows with calves at their sides grazing in the meadow, along with Herbie, our bull.
We have porch swings for you to relax on as you enjoy the stars and soak up the quiet. A small farm pond is home to ducks that come and go as they will. If you are out early in the morning, you can hear them greet the dawn.
Our 1868 farmhouse was built on 96 acres by Barbara and Samuel Garber, immediately following the Civil War. They were Mennonites whose family owned the adjoining farm. They built the dairy barn at the same time as the house. The west side of the barn was executed in a fancy brick design, and unlike most bank barns, it opens to the north. Our guest rooms are named for people of significance to its past.
"Keith & Kathy:
Thanks for the enjoyable stay as usual. What a relaxation from the limelight! I guess I will see you again next year. What do you think about a movie about Lancaster County?
Sincerely,

Barbara and Samuel built this house in 1868 and they would be amazed at the beautiful queen sleigh bed that graces this room, along with the sitting area with the TV/VCR. This small room has the whimsical feel of an English Garden, stars included. the private bath is called the "potting shed". You can watch the ducks swimming on the pond at sunrise, and in the evening, catch the sun setting over the serene countryside.

GRAMMA AND GRAMPA BRUBAKER ROOM
This luxury room offers a fireplace, a two-person soaking tub and a queen bed done in cream-colored wicker. A full size sofa is perfect for day dreaming or enjoying the beauty of watching the moon climb over the fields. Edith's grandparents really did occupy this room at the turn of the century. They would love all this spaciousness, and be amazed at the beauty and the amenities it includes. The artwork with the picket fence theme, rocking chair, fluffy robes and snacks available 24 hours a day make this room special. There is even a picket fence in the bath room. All of this was unheard of in their time.

COUSIN EDITH’S ROOM
This cozy room has a four poster queen bed and a love seat for relaxing. Years ago when Edith lived here this was her favorite room, or so we like to think. We have French art on the walls that makes it soft and warm. Edith was an only child and lived here with her parents and grand-parents. The large private bath has a soaking tub for two and is decorated in a french country garden theme. Edith would be quite surprised at all the amenities.
