Welcome to Pheasant Field Bed & Breakfast, where you will enjoy casual, country elegance in our historic brick farmhouse. Our B&B is conveniently located just east of Carlisle - an easy drive to Gettysburg, Hershey, Harrisburg, and Mechanicsburg. You can relax by hiking on The Appalachian Trail or fly fishing in the Yellow Breeches or The LeTort Spring Run.
Carlisle is famous for collector car shows held at the Carlisle Fairgrounds. Dickinson College, Messiah College, and Penn State\'s Law School - Dickinson School of Law - are also located nearby. The US Army War College - also home of the Carlisle Indian School, Jim Thorpe\'s alma mater - is just 3 miles from our bed and breakfast.

You will wake-up to the aroma of coffee and fresh-baked muffins. Your morning will start with hearty, country breakfast served in the dinning room. Breakfast is served at your convenience from 5:30 to 10:30 am most mornings
The family room area, once the \"Summer Kitchen\", was used as a stop on the Underground Railroad. We provide lots of information on area attractions, as well as offering movies for the VCR, area restaurant menus, and maps of walking/hiking routes.
Lady Amherst\'s Library (located on the first floor), features a queen size sleigh bed, lots of reading materials, and private bath. From this room you can view our tennis court.
Gen. Miller\'s Retreat boasts a king-size bed, private bath with a double-sink vanity, and dressing area. Bird-watchers will enjoy this view looking out at the three-acre pond, home to abundant wildlife
Pheasant Dreams invites you to pleasant dreams in its queen sized bed. This room has a private (shower) bath. The view from this room includes our old stone barn and the smaller equestrian training ring.
Appalachian Hideaway features a high headboard oak queen size bed and private (shower) bath. This room features views of the three-acre pond and island.
All of our rooms have a phone, clock radio, and cable TV. Most have an answering machine.
