The Town
Tourists, mostly retirees, flock to Topsail Island in the summers making the place look like a typical vacation haunt rather than the quiet, laidback place that it usually is. North Topsail Beach, is a tiny residential community with oceanfront resorts and rental cottages. Surf City is the commercial hub offering a wide choice of resorts, restaurants and shopping experiences. Topsail Beach, on the southern end of the island, is a quieter area with fewer hotels and shops. The beaches all over the island are equally awesome and beach lovers can spend hours frolicking here. |
