Less than two hours north of Atlanta, just over the NC line. Two hours south of Asheville, NC, and a little over one hour east of Chattanooga, TN. Nestled in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains. About eight hours north of Tampa, FL., straight up Route 75.

Scottish Woods is virtually surrounded on all sides by mountains. Heavily wooded with oak, pine, and ornamentals such as Holly, Flame Azalea, Dogwoods, and Mountain Laurels. It offers the convenience of being less than 10 miles from the Super Wal-Mart, and other national retailers. Underground electric and phone service minimize intruding on our natural surroundings. The McKenzie Tract is part of the 26-acre Scottish Woods Resort, offering residents and visitors miles of wooded nature trails, ponds and meadows, where birds and wildlife abound. There is even a Scottish Castle. And you can pet our friendly miniature horses.
