Nine distinctive guest quarters are nestled within three buildings. Some offer stunning lake views, others present tranquil views of the woods. Each is decorated with an eclectic mixture of antiques, comfortable furnishings, and custom made beds, and all are charmingly tasteful. All guest rooms contain private baths... most have jacuzzi tubs built for two, wood burning fireplaces, private decks, televisions and stereo,VCR's with tape libraries, CD-tape players, mini refrigerators, coffee service and robes.

As the day drifts by, some guests like to wander the woods, others relax with a book or a friend's conversation. All delight in watching deer graze and play on the lawn, just a few feet from their deck.
The Lakehouse's private seven acre lake is a true bass fishing heaven. Rowboats that bob gently in the water at the covered boat dock offer a relaxing time in an idyllic setting. Guests row out to their own private island to sunbathe, relax, and renew, or they indulge in a refreshing swim.
Winter offers special delights. Under a pristine blanket of snow, the woods and buildings take on an indescribable quiet and beauty. The frozen lake is breathtaking in winter's sparkling haze. Enjoy nearby cross-country skiing, and downhill skiing in the adjoining Catskills or neighboring Berkshires. Winter is warm and friendly inside the luxurious bed and breakfast. Stacks and stacks of firewood feed blazing fires and turn a winter's day into your private, cozy house party.
The surrounding area has a rich variety of diversions. Within a short drive are historic Hudson River mansions and local wineries, fabulous antique shopping, berry and apple picking, golf courses, tennis, horseback riding, hiking, and quaint historic villages filled with fine restaurants and specialty shops.
