Snow Season Every season in Angel Fire brings with it a host of outdoor activities. The powerful snow making system ensures that the ski runs are always covered by freshly made snow. You can choose from any of the four terrain parks: Liberation Park, Cayenne Park, Bad Lands Terrain Park and Exhibition Terrain Park. Liberation Park features the only half pipe in the state. The Nordic Centre is an absolute treat, with 22 kilometers of cross-country and snowshoe terrain in the backcountry of the magnificent Sangre de Cristo Mountains. The trails begin and end with incredible views of New Mexico’s highest mountain, Wheeler’s Peak. Unleash the child within you and cruise down the mountain in an inflated colorful tube. You can also try your hand at some ice fishing at the 2,200-acre Eagle Nest Lake. |
