Central New Hampshire
Central New Hampshire is full of lively lakes, serene forests, and quaint towns bustling with life and activity. Eight towns, each offering dynamic and diverse places to stay and things to do while in the area, border Lake Winnipesaukee, the largest lake in the state. Towns like Meredith, Center Harbor and Moultonborough offer fishing, cruising on ships, taking boat tours, kayaking, and water skiing among many of the great activities you can pursue while on vacation in the area. Dartmouth, the Ivy League School in Hanover, is a central piece of the region offering hundreds of years of higher education to the youth of the area. These outlet stores offer over 50 stores completely tax free and features names like Polo Ralph Lauren, Brooks Brothers, and Nine West. Outside of Holderness lies Squam Lake where the movie starring Henry and Jane Fonda and Katherine Hepburn was filmed. See Purgatory Cove and the Thayer Cottage while on a boat tour or grab your rod and reel to head out on a fishing trip. |
