Custom built just three years ago, this architecturally designed home, "War Dance", is located in the Rocky Mountain Village of the Big Sky Ski and Summer Resort in southwestern Montana. Located on a secluded residential cul de sac adjacent to the ski slopes, it is a true ski-in ski-out location. In terms of vacation home rentals, there is no other location in closer proximity to the ski and summer resort base area. Yet, we are far enough away to be peaceful and relaxing. The Yellowstone National Park boundary is just 18 miles away, which makes our home an excellent base for day trips to the Park. War Dance is nestled in the trees on a one-half acre site where the Middle Fork of the Gallatin River runs down below at its edge.
War Dance is approximately 3,000 comfortable square feet of luxury. There are three bedrooms, three and one-half baths and living areas on two levels. In addition, there is an enclosed heated two car garage with storage area, and three decks, one holding a hot tub spa. The interior has soaring ceilings, a wood burning fireplace and expansive windows with beautiful unobstructed views. The furnishings and artwork are exquisite and reflect the genuine feel of the Western Rocky Mountains. We provide every amenity to make your stay an enjoyable one.
Big Sky is consistently rated one of the top ski areas in the U.S.A. and boasts the most vertical feet in the U.S. and nonexistent lift lines. Summer and Fall are awesome, too! Minutes from our home are some of the best fly fishing lakes and blue ribbon streams and rivers in the U.S., hiking, biking, horseback riding, river rafting, golf, swimming and tennis. The Yellowstone National Park boundary is just 18 miles away and the official west entrance of Yellowstone National Park is only a thirty minute drive farther. From the sports enthusiast to the peaceful vacationer, Big Sky has something to offer everyone.
