Traveling east brings you to the northeastern part of the state where you will find quaint river towns edging the Mississippi River, cultural, historical, and educational museums, and underground caves. If entertainment is in your itinerary, make sure it includes southwest Missouri. Do not miss a trip to Branson and nearby Kimberling City, America’s new live entertainment capital that brings in great musical acts and stellar performances. Shell Knob is a destination for outdoor enthusiasts as it is home to Table Rock Lake where visitors can fish, boat, water ski, and swim within its 800 miles of shoreline.
