See For Yourself Slow and steady do win races! Unique to the city is the Turtle race, which has been a regular event for the past 40 years! This race is held in the summer months, between June and August. Normally the turtle race takes place every Wednesday on the Turtle Track, in the parking lot behind the Nisswa Chamber building.
The quaint charm, the picture perfect scenic beauty, the warm and welcoming nature of the people here and the year round facilities for fishing and outdoor sports make Nisswa a great city to visit.
