Western Iowa
Western Iowa is a land of rodeos, “Great Lakes”, and pioneers. A main attraction in the region is the Okoboji area and their glacier-carved lakes including Spirit Lake, West Okoboji, East Okoboji, Upper Gar, Lower Gar and Minnewashta. Onawa, home of the Loess Hills Scenic Byway and the Lewis and Clark Trail, offers camping, fishing, boating, and wildlife on the shores of blue Lake. |
