With its beautiful fir, spruce and pine forests, this 217,000-acre National Recreation Area has about 300 lakes and 40 wilderness trails. Go camping with the entire family and enjoy the hiking trails, take in the beauty of the countryside while fishing at one of the lakes or swim in the warm waters. Bird watchers will have the time of their lives exploring this area. Horse riding, golfing and biking are some of the other options for visitors. |
