Eastern Idaho
The adventurous flock to Eastern Idaho for The Grand Tetons and the streams and rivers that flow through its grasslands that provide endless opportunities for outdoor activity. The town of Ashton sits within miles of some of the greatest parks and natural attractions in the country. Island Park provides opportunities for golfing, hiking, snowmobiling, horseback riding, and fishing. Within Island Park is Harriman State Park, a haven to rare trumpeter swans and a wildlife refuge. Here, you will also find the world famous fly-fishing stream, Henry’s Fork of the Snake River that meanders through the area. In the Upper Snake River Valley, sightseers, photographers, and adventurers will want to see the collapsed remains of an ancient volcano. In the Teton Valley you will find the towns of Driggs and Victor. These are great places to find lodging for the trip, as there are endless opportunities to experience the outdoors in the surrounding areas.
