Sleep in on Sunday morning with our late check out. We want you to make the most of your weekend in the mountain. If we do not another guest arriving that afternoon, we offer a 3:00 PM checkout at no additional charge. (This option is subject to availability. If we have another reservation, check out is by 10:00 AM in order for house keeping to have the cabin ready for the next guest.)
Only 4.6 miles from downtown Blue Ridge, accessed via a paved county road, this cabin is also located on the bike trails for the famed "Aska Adventure Race." The cabin backs up to national forest service property.
Lake Blue Ridge abuts the property. A gentle walk of 200 yards has you at our dock at high pool.
The Cabin is designed to host families. There is a queen in the bedroom on the main level. This level has a large bath with a jetted tub. The sun room features an old fashion slider and over sized rocking chairs which invite you to enjoy the forest with a cup of coffee or tea. Upstairs there is one bedroom with a king bed and satellite TV and a second bedroom with a queen bed. These two bedrooms share a full bath also located on this level. Downstairs the rec room has a new billiards table, Satellite TV and board games. There is a futon in the game room. Also, the fourth and fifth bedrooms and third full bath are located on this level. Bedrooms #4 and #5 each have two twin beds. The laundry room has a new washer and dryer.
The brand new hot tub and outdoor shower, with hot and cold water are located immediately outside of the rec room.
The screened in porch off of the living room has table and chairs for outside dining and a new gas grill.
Complete kitchen with service for 12.
Central heat and air / ceiling fans through out and a gas fire place insure that you are cool in the summer and cozy in the fall and winter.
Cabin is located adjacent to the US Forest Service national forest and the Aska Adventure mountain bike trails. Hiking, biking, walking; four wheeling are all immediately available.
The delightful town of Blue Ridge is only 10 minutes away, where you will find a vast variety of shops, restaurants, the Blue Ridge Mountain Railroad, venues to schedule horseback riding or a round of golf.
Portable cribs, high chairs, swings can be arranged. Ralph Lauren towels and all linens are provided. Bring a book or your swim suit. Your mountain bike or enjoy a rocker.
It is all here - just waiting on you.
The lake is home to bass, bream, catfish, perch and crappie, which make the area popular with anglers. It is also known for its white bass fishing.
