Gorgeous second floor loft apartment located in Artist's Row in downtown Augusta. Just FIVE minutes from the Augusta National. Short walking distance to a host of different-themed bars, clubs, and restaurants to suit all ages, a fitness facility, library, antique stores, museums and art galleries, Augusta Golf and Gardens, and Fort Discovery -- all within a few blocks. Also 2 blocks from the Savannah River and Riverwalk. Situated in an old, renovated building right on Broad Street -- at the absolute center of downtown activity. Large corner wrap-around balcony (only one of its kind downtown) with a grill as well as a bar-height cafe table for dining alfresco and people-watching. Apartment is 1400 sq. ft. with 14' ceilings, hardwood floors, LOTS of huge windows (6 in all in the great room, 2 in each bedroom), sunny and inviting with lots of southern charm, old molding and shabby-chic French Provincial-style decor. Great location for evening get-togethers. 27-inch flat screen TV, stereo, full kitchen and washer/dryer. Smoking prohibited inside apartment but allowed on the balcony (restrictions apply). Public transportation available. Very clean and perfect for anyone who likes to be in the center of activity. Beautiful Chinese Elm tree should be in spring bloom, and dusk downtown is enchanting. Sleeps 2-5. Definitely different than a traditional home or hotel! Currently sprucing up for spring, will provide additional details and/or interior photos upon request. No renters under 21 unless accompanied by parent or guardian. Due to the location, influx of people, local events and the general party atmosphere during Masters week, this rental is not ideal for those seeking peace and quiet.
