Directly on the free shuttle route (stops right across the street!) and five miles from the base of Winter Park Ski Area, The High Mountain Retreat provides easy access to enjoy all the area has to offer without having to park with the crowds at the base of the ski areas. The Fraser tubing and Safeway are few minutes away right down the hill. Located on a secluded, wooded acre with great views of the continental divide, deer, elk, and even moose are often seen browsing through this mountain property.
Sleeping arrangements include two bedroom suites with king-size beds, one bedroom suite with a queen-size bed and a pull-out, one room with three sets of bunkbeds with a full-size on the bottom of one, and one room with a full-size futon bed and an accordian door for privacy. There are also two living areas; one with one pullout and the other with two comfortable, spring mattress futon couch/beds.
