Located in the beautiful Fraser River Valley, Sunnyside is centered among a wide selection of mountain activities. Out your front door is the Fraser to Granby Trail for hiking, biking, and cross country skiing. Within ten minutes, you are skiing at Winter Park Resort, fishing the Fraser River, or recreating at the YMCA of the Rockies. Just 30 minutes away is scenic Rocky Mountain National Park, water sports on Grand Lake, and rafting on the Colorado River. Top off your day by just relaxing in the hot tub and watching the alpenglow on the Continental Divide.
Sunnyside is a spacious home designed to accommodate a large "family" of up to 19 people. Large windows off the sunroom open the home to fantastic views and, coupled with its vaulted ceilings, give the home a light and open atmosphere. The 2800 square foot house includes six bedrooms, three baths, a sunroom, large kitchen, dining room, living room, family game and TV room, laundry room, entry-way "mudroom" for the skis and coats, and two-car garage. Sunnyside has a caretaker living in an on site apartment to better serve any needs that may arise during your stay.
The master bedroom has a queen bed and double futon, plus private bathroom. The bunkroom includes a bunkbed with a double futon on the bottom and single on top, plus an additional single bed. The third bedroom has a trundle bed that can be either two twins or a king bed. The fourth bedroom has a double bed and a single bed. Upstairs in the living room is a queen hide-a-bed. The fifth bedroom/TV room has a double hide-a-bed. Last, but not least, the sixth bedroom has spectacular views of the continental divide and the ski area and has a queen bed.
The kitchen and dining room were designed for "real cooking and eating." It is wide open with lots of space, and you can seat EVERYONE at the same time in the same room! Both the family room and the living room have TVs with satellite, VCR, and DVD players. Games and books are also provided as well as a full size air hockey table.
