Floor to 30 foot ceiling windows reveal fantastic views of the ski slopes and lower valley. Designed for the discriminating who desire luxury, this lovely private home is ideal for your winter or summer vacation, special party, reunions and corporate retreat. We also offer custom floral arrangements and on site secretarial services.
The unique features include antique stained glass windows and other antique architectural appointments as well as five fireplaces. Most rooms offer satellite TV, VCR, DVD; the great room includes a 9 foot screen with projector t.v. and Bose surround sound as well as a baby grand piano and a full wet bar for entertaining. A gourmet kitchen provides room for three chefs, or if you prefer our full service package, the perfect place to watch your own version of \'Emeril Live\' as your personal chef prepares your meals.
The game/craft room (which serves as the 5th bedroom and sleeps 6) provides privacy for kids while adults enjoy the wood burning fireplace and downfilled couches downstairs. Lay back in the private eight person hot tub with your cappuccino or wine and watch skiers challenge the slopes or enjoy sunbathing in the summer on your private deck. Enjoy our 18' tipi which is erected in the back yard every summer after June 15th.
Additionally, Bear Berry Cottage has the unique offering of a full-time caretaker/helper. Laurrelle is very gracious and goes out of her way to be accommodating. A former Floridian who visited Steamboat Springs for 20 years before becoming a permanent resident, she is very familiar with the surrounding area and can assist you with planning your activities or guiding you to the best spots in town. She conveniently lives in a separate apartment on-site. Yet, unless you call upon her, your privacy will be protected.
Located only 1.3 miles to the ski mountain base, 0.6 miles to the Thunderhead lift, and five minutes to Old Town, this is truly your home base for enjoying all the conveniently close summer and winter activities that fabulous Steamboat Springs offers.
