Visit out 900 sq ft cabin and bbq your favorite meal, or take the family to one of the restaurants in Florrisant, Divide, Woodland Park (15 miles) or Colorado Springs. Sit and enjoy the awesome scenery on the 800 sq ft wrap around deck! You are just a few short miles to Florissant Fossil Beds Monument, Cripple Creek, Manitou Springs, Garden of the Gods, the Air Force Academy and many other wonderful things to do. We are nestled in the Rocky Mountains and you may see deer and elk in the valley below. There is an ice cream shop in Florissant or drive to one of the other popular vacation spots like Leadville or Breckenridge for a day trip!
Bring your own VCR tapes as TV reception is not good. When you are tired of movies, head out to the Fossil beds,Eleven Mile Reservoir for fishing and hiking or drive to Cripple Creek to explore old Gold Mines, have an ice cream cone, shop in their quaint shops, or you can try your luck in one of there many casinos!
We have parking up next to the cabin and plenty of parking for an RV! A great 'base camp' for your day trips.
