SWEET CREEK COTTAGE is a cheerful, comfy home, a cottage with elegant touches.

.....Downstairs: a huge BR (almost 20X20) with French doors opening to the grassy back yard and private creek. Has 3 Queen beds, piano, beautiful maple table.

HUGE BEAUTIFUL YARDS. Wooded and open areas, 100 ft of clear, gentle creek. Two fine Playhouses, swing, double hammock under the plum tree. Lots of picnic furniture, kettle bbq, fire pit, outdoor toys. Shade and sun. Fruit trees, blackberries.
One playhouse is a faithful replica of our famous Santa Cruz Lighthouse. Even adults can climb the tower and peek out the lookout windows. Lots of lawn chairs, and conversation & reading nooks under the flowering and fruiting trees.
Children entertain themselves for hours, close to nature, in the serentity & security of the back yards.Paradise for everyone!
Parents are onl vacation here, while kids explore their wonderland, the, playhouses, creek, hammock, "wild woods", carousel giraffe, and more. The only vacation rental with a "designated digging area", complete with shovels, buckets, and seeds. Plus cloth and scissors for making doll blankets, scarves, etc.
UNBELIEVABLY QUIET circle street. Seems like you're in the country, right in town. About a mile to the beach, Boardwalk, town, Univ of Calif, Santa Cruz, museums, great dining, fascinating shops, surfing and surfing lessons. Our coastal redwoods - the tallest trees in the world, are just up the road. Choose from beaches to the south, with long sandy strands, and secret beaches to the north, in rocky coves.
Original fine art throughout the house. We have delightful antiques, esteemed "Dunbar" furniture, gorgeous Persian rugs, hardwood and terra cotta floors. Piano and other instuments, and a lovely carousel giraffe. New LR couches envelop you with comfort. Comfort, quality, grace, quiet, beauty are our themes, with a welcome to people from around the world.
The house is fully supplied with quality items, including staples in the kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry. Cable, hi-speed wireless internet, phone, FAX, copier, answering machine. Games, puzzles, books, movies, art supplies. An enchanting and well-stocked CHILDREN'S CORNER. Tub/Shower. W & D. Plenty of parking.
A "Tiny Museum and Store" features rotating exhibits of collections: bone and stone tools, antique swords, Colonial hand tools, rocks and minerals, carnelian, world musical instruments, historic cameras and more. You fall for a painting or object, we might arrange a generous sale.
Quality beds, all with memory-foam topping, lush bed linens and towels, pure cotton. House is super-clean, with eco-cleaning supplies without artificial scents.
