Long before condominiums and mega-resorts began to crop up along Seven Mile Beach, the Seaview Hotel was a favorite with visiting divers.
Now, with a new management team in place and a renovation program well under way, this historic property has once again become a prime choice for visiting divers - especially those seeking value and convenience at a moderate price.
The Seaview is a cozy 15-room diver's hotel with its own restaurant, bar, pool and dive center. The rooms are simple and reasonably priced, with air conditioning and telephones, and the bar and restaurant are comfortable and casual rather than elegant.
The Seaview is a favorite with divers for it's great location: sitting right on the water's edge of the protected west side of the island. Just steps from their room, divers can be jumping in and sucking back compressed air in minutes and enjoying our beautiful reefs and aquatic life.
The Seaview Hotel is Grand Cayman's oldest hotel, built in 1947. For over 50 years The Seaview has been offering the same warm friendly service. It has been institutional in establishing Grand Cayman as the world's number one dive destination. We have 15 hotel rooms with modest accommodations. Let's face it, with some of the best shore diving right on our doorstep, you'll be spending very little time in your room.
Along with our intimate seaside setting, we offer The Naked Fish, Grand Cayman's best new steak and seafood restaurant. We have a salt water pool for dive training as well as the occasional moonlight or afternoon swim. We have live weekly entertainment and the ever popular Cayman Concert Series with bands like America, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, SheDaisey and Travis Tritt.
Seaview guests can easily walk to town. We are located just 3/10ths of a mile from the Georgetown district and two miles from the world famous Seven Mile Beach. The downtown area is full of excellent duty free shopping and some of the other highly recommended restaurants on the island.
