Our 12 guest rooms are all air-conditioned with private bathrooms. The rooms are simple, clean, and neat; they are cleaned & maintained each day by Miss Blondell, our housekeeper for many years. All rooms have recently been re-furbished with tile flooring, new furniture, as well as new window and bed treatments. Remember, the rooms are not to be considered luxury accommodations and are not intended to be compared to accommodations like the Hyatt or the Westin which cost $250 - 400 each night for simply a room.
Our rooms open onto sun decks, porches, or courtyards - and all are very close to the ocean. Most rooms have 2 double beds. King beds are available in the oceanfront rooms which are 25 feet from the ocean's edge. The non-oceanfront or standard rooms are "just around the corner" from the oceanfront rooms and the ocean is visible simply by turning to your left or right. The rooms are free of telephones and televisions; contact with civilization is easily made in the office and bar where telephones & fax machines are available ... and we do have a TV in our open-air bar area.The rooms are seconds from the open air dining area and open air bar, and the dive boats are moored steps away at the end of our private dock.
No buses to the dive boats here!
Four of our rooms are oceanfront rooms - directly facing the ocean 25 feet from the water; two of the oceanfront rooms are on the upper level opening onto a large sun deck; one of the upper level oceanfront rooms has 2 double beds and the other has a king bed and a double bed. The other two oceanfront rooms are located on the lower level; these lower level oceanfront rooms each have a king bed and open onto a private porch which faces the ocean. The oceanfront rooms can be specifically reserved.
Six of our rooms are standard rooms. These all have 2 double beds and they face the courtyard or the vacant land next door. They are directly adjacent to the oceanfront rooms and when you step out from your room and turn right or left you will then be looking right at the ocean.
Two of our Rooms are "Economy Rooms". These two rooms are just as nice, but do not have French Doors with ocean views. These rooms are available at a nightly discount, and one is particularly appropriate for singles.
Do NOT compare Cayman Diving Lodge to large, high volume tourist diving operations that may have caught your eye with their huge full page color ads ...
Cayman Diving Lodge is UNIQUE on Grand Cayman ... we are all-inclusive with EVERYTHING on-site at the lodge ... no buses to the boats ... no wondering where to eat & how much it will cost ...
Sheila and Roy, our two chefs, will prepare you special meals three times each day in our open-air beach front dining area ... we are very small and very personal (only 12 rooms) ... AND there are NO costly upgrades for "SPECIAL" diving ... the best diving on the island - Grand Cayman's East End - is our front yard - and all of our diving is special... (and you don't have to be on a boat all day long to experience East End Diving!)
And we think most important, our wonderful staff live on-site at the lodge and are available to you from sun-up to bedtime ... you will quickly know them as friends ... and you will become part of the Cayman Diving Lodge family ...

Please carefully read these important details about your package; these should answer many of your questions about what the packages include and what they do not include
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES & SOFT DRINKS are not included in the package price; coffee, bottled water, and a variety of juices are provided
DIVE PACKAGES DO NOT INCLUDE diving on your day of arrival or the day of departure; if you arrive early enough, you may purchase an afternoon dive ($50) on the day of arrival and/or a night dive ($50) -- if we have one that evening
DIVE PACKAGES INCLUDE 2 or 3 boat dives each dive day; Dive packages include tanks, weights, and belts
THE NUMBER OF DIVE DAYS IN A PACKAGE is one less than the number of nights (a 7 night package includes 6 days of diving and so on)
CERTIFICATION & INSTRUCTION COURSES are not included in the published package rates; these courses are available to Lodge guests as well as non-guests and a package including instruction or certification may be designed for you
DIVE GEAR is not included in the published package prices; (tanks, weights, belts are provided); all other gear is available for rent (see below)
