We are located 250 miles North of Quebec City at 50degree + latitude, in the pure Northern waters above the acid rain belt. There is no pollution or acid rain & the fishing & great outdoors is still as excellent as it was when the Montagnais natives were there.
We offer 150 square miles of virtually undisturbed fishing on over 100 lakes. Floatplane accessible. Featuring private cabins and boats on 30 square mile Lac Peru along with 2 satellite camps in the high country.
Explore the bays and open waters for aggressive Northern Pike, lunker Lake Trout & White Fish along with Brook Trout in all the surrounding streams and rivers. Hike to more remote waters that seldom, if ever, have seen a fly or lure.
Lac Perdu is teeming with Lake Trout & Northern Pike. It is in fact recognized as one of the best locations in Canada to land trophies. Raymond Carignan landed a 40 lb. lake trout breaking 2 records at the same time: the largest lake trout caught with a Mepps lure and the largest trout filmed on professional video. Lake trout are between 3 to 40 lbs. and can be caught on the surface nearly throughout the entire summer.
On the 2 other lakes with cabins there are only brook trout and you pretty much catch one with every cast. A fantastic trip is 4 or 5 days at Perdu and 2 or 3 days at one of the upper lakes. It's like 2 totally different fishing trips. It's another $100 onto any package you choose for the airplane transfer to the upper lakes from Perdu but it's well worth it.
There are 6 cabins on Lac Peru (the BIG lake) and one cabin each on our satellite lakes: Lac Caroline & Lac Des Trios Lies. There are over 100 additional lakes on the property, which are accessible by hiking, canoe & portage, etc. Peru is the place for Great Northern Pike and Lake trout. Caroline & Trios Lies make up an unbelievable Brook trout fishery; you can fish streams, grassy flats & the lakes. All of them are loaded with trout that will see their first fly when you present it to them.
