From the terrace it is like living in a private wildlife sanctuary with an abundance of friendly birds such as Kookaburras, King Parrots, Rainbow Lorikeets, Galahs and many others, including a family of possums some of which can be hand-fed. This holiday/vacation house is set-up as an inviting home, with better quality furnishings and inclusions than normally found in similar rental properties. The house is 2.5km to local pristine surf beaches and .5km to the nearby Moruya river and boat-ramp. The township of Moruya is 6kms, where there is a vibrant street market each Saturday morning. There is a large supermarket, Department store, Cinema and many specialty shops and cafes in the main street. The 18-hole Championship course at Moruya Golf Club is always open to visitors and is highly recommended as one of the most challenging courses along the NSW South Coast. Fishing in the area is widespread with many popular spots to explore. This coastal area features many nearby places of interest to explore including historical villages, Mogo Zoo, National Parks and many other hidden treasures.
